Intercem Shipping Forum

The first Intercem event of 2024, Intercem Shipping Forum, took place in Italy from January 22-23, drawing delegates from 25 countries. The conference covered key trends affecting the cement industry, from market forecasts and freight dynamics to the latest developments in cement transportation solutions.

Turkish Cement was represented by a high-level delegation, including Vice President Abdulhamit Akçay, Board Members Ender Şahin and Barış Karahüseyin. Intercem Shipping Forum served as a crucial platform for logistics providers and showcased Türkiye's burgeoning potential in the logistics sector. Turkish Cement desk, which was visited by the Rome Commercial Consulate, provided valuable insights into the Turkish cement sector.
