ABOUT US

Turkish Cement is a semi-governmental association representing cement producers and exporters in Turkey. It is the only Association gathering exporters and is an affiliated institution of Ministry of Trade. Main product groups in Turkish Cement are cement and clinker.

 The foundations of the cement industry in Turkey were laid in 1912 and today, after 100 years of experience, Turkey’s cement industry has taken its place among the cement exporter leaders in the world. With a total of 31 million tons of cement and clinker exports to 120 countries in 2021, Turkey ranked first in exports in Europe and second in the world. With 55 integrated and 22 grinding plants, 19.000 professional employees, Turkish Cement is the first choice of the most of the countries thanks to its product quality, logistic advantage and unique customer experience.

The main goal of the association is to raise the image and awareness of Turkish Cement, to support sustainable development.  With the European Green Deal, Turkish Cement is working on green business model, setting out to its environmental journey with the aim of a climate neutral industry by 2050.
