CEMENT INDUSTRY GATHERED TO EVALUATE THE EXPORT PERFORMANCE OF THE FİRST 5 MONTHS OF 2019

This year's first meeting of the Cement Sector Meetings, which brings together exporter member companies in the Turkish Cement industry, was held in Istanbul on 11 June 2019. The meeting was held with a participant group of 20 people consisting of Feyyaz ÜNAL, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of our Association, Cement Industry Employers' Union (ÇEİS), Turkish Cement Manufacturers' Association (TÇMB) and representatives of sector member companies.

In the opening speech and presentation made by Feyyaz ÜNAL, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Cement, Glass, Ceramics and Soil Products Exporters' Association, the comparative statistics of Turkey's cement sector exports in the first 5 months of 2019 with the same period of the previous year were shared. In addition, the current situation of our country's cement exports in the world cement market was evaluated. Feyyaz ÜNAL also shared the activities and event details of our Association within the scope of the "INTERCEM 100-International Cement Conference" to be held at Istanbul Hilton Bomonti Hotel on 24-26 June 2019 with the representatives of member companies.

Within the framework of the presentation titled "Developments and Expectations in the Economy, Construction Sector and Cement Industry" made by the economic consultant of our association, Can Fuat GÜRLESEL, current developments regarding our economy and our sector were shared with the participants.
