The Giants of the Cement Industry Gathered in Ankara!

The "Champions of Export Award Ceremony," organized for the 8th time this year by the Cement, Glass, Ceramic, and Earth Products Exporters' Association (ÇCSİB), was held in Ankara, hosted by the Ministry of Trade. Bringing together the leaders of the industry, the ceremony honored the companies that reached the pinnacle of exports based on 2025 data.

The ceremony commenced with the presence and opening speech of the Minister of Trade, Prof. Dr. Ömer Bolat. Alongside the participation of Deputy Minister of Trade Volkan Ağar, the event drew significant interest from prominent figures and representatives of the sector. Following evaluations based on 2025 export figures, a total of 21 awards were presented to member companies demonstrating excellence in the categories of cement, grey cement, white cement, and clinker.

Overcoming Global Risks Through Sustainability Speaking at the ceremony, Vice President Ender Şahin highlighted the strategic importance of the Turkish cement sector in the global market. Şahin stated:

"Despite increasing risks and protectionist trends in global trade, the Turkish cement sector continues to maintain its strong position in the global market through its robust production capacity, high export capability, and sustainability-oriented transformation investments."
