THE GLOBAL CEMENT INDUSTRY REUNITED IN ISTANBUL FOR THE INTERCEM 2023
INTERCEM Istanbul 2023 was held at Swissotel the Bosphorus in association with Turkish Cement and with broad participation of distinguished cement sector representatives between 5-7 September. More than 480 delegates from 45 countries attended the INTERCEM İstanbul 2023 which is the world’s leading cement industry conference.
Turkish Cement Vice President Abdulhamit Akcay welcomed all participants in his speech and made a presentation about current situation of Turkish cement and Turkish economy. The presentation of Abdulhamit Akçay, which drew attention to the importance of Turkey in the global cement industry, was met with great interest. Then, the opportunities for the Turkish cement industry in the international market evaluated by Turkish Cement Vice President Abdulhamit Akçay and Board Member Ender Şahin in the panel. Turkish Cement’s stand became the focus of the conference throughout the event, and the information was given about Turkish exporter companies to the visitors. Sector representatives came together once again at the gala dinner organized by Turkish Cement on the evening of September 6.
