Turkish Cement Once Again Hosted the Global Cement Industry in Türkiye

INTERCEM Istanbul, the most important event shaping the roadmap of the cement industry, was held between September 9–11. The event opened with a keynote speech by Vice Chairman, Abdulhamit Akçay, and continued with his comprehensive presentation on the

current state and export performance of the Turkish cement sector. Board Members Ender Şahin and Barış Karahüseyin also attended the event and held several meetings with industry representatives.

Bringing together nearly 500 participants from 45 countries, the event focused on global economic developments, shifting dynamics in international trade, and emerging market trends. Once again, the strength and reputation of the Turkish cement industry on a global

scale were clearly demonstrated.

Turkish Cement also hosted a special gala dinner, bringing together leading representatives of the industry. The event started with the opening speech by Vice Chairman, Abdulhamit Akçay, and brought together a total of 170 guests from Türkiye and abroad. This special evening brought together various stakeholders of the cement sector and provided a valuable opportunity to take the pulse of the industry. Participants had the chance to both strengthen their business connections and exchange ideas about the future of the sector. Chairman, Erdem Çenesiz, also honored the gala dinner with his presence and met with key stakeholders.
