XONE DESIGN AWARDS AND XONE DESIGN COMPETITION CEREMONY 2022 WAS HELD
XONE Design Awards and XONE Design Competition ceremony and gala dinner, organized by the Cement, Glass, Ceramics and Soil Products Exporters Association, was held on June 1, 2022 at Rahmi M. Koç Museum with the participation of TİM President İsmail Gülle, Chairman Erdem Çenesiz, board members of the association, industry representatives, finalists and press members. Trade Vice-Minister Volkan Ağar congratulated all winners and greeted all guest through a video.
In his opening speech, Chairman of the Board, Erdem Çenesiz emphasized that successful designs are the key point of exports for cement, glass and ceramic sectors and stated that the association aims to transform XONE Design into an international program.
After rigorous assessments and evaluations of jury members, a total of 9 companies (7 from ceramic sector and 2 from glass sector) out of 38 designs were deemed worthy of awards in XONE Design Awards. 31 designs selected among 75 designs in student category and 29 designs selected out of 81 designs in the professional category were awarded as finalists in the XONE Design Competition. After the exhibition of winners’ designs, certificates were presented to the designers.
